I am sitting here watching The Simpson's and the show just is not funny tonight. Are they saving everything they have for the movie that is coming out soon.

Cingular Wireless

It costs a wireless carrier more than $200 to acquire a new customer. I have been a Cingular customer for the last 3 or 4 years. Last month, my payment got lost in the mail. Yes, I really sent it on time.

So, I received a call from Cingular customer service the other day wanting to know where my payment is. Since I haven’t received my monthly checking account statement, I checked online and noticed that the check never cleared. I told the rep that the check must be lost in the mail or more likely lost in their mail room/fulfillment area. I told them that I would give them my credit card and pay for the April bill. I then requested that they do not charge any late fee. They said they couldn’t drop the $5.00 late fee.

So, Cingular will not drop the $5.00 late fee for a payment that I sent two weeks before the due date.

I am now looking to change wireless carriers, over the $5.00 that Cingular won’t drop.

Rock the Vote Brochure

After seeing Shrek II or is it Shrek 2 tonight, we went to Ben and Jerry’s. While there I picked up a brochure from Rock The Vote.

While enjoying my Phish Food, I read the following information from the brochure:

Most young adults have no allegiance to one specific party. In 2000, 48% of voters aged 18 to 29 voted for Al Gore and 46% voted for George W. Bush. Today 38% of college undergraduates are Independent/Undecided, 31% Republican; and 27% Democrat. The source for this information is Voter News Service and Harvard IOP Study.

I can’t believe that more young people identify themselves as Republicans then Democrats. This is really sad news.

Hopefully this trend will change in 2004 and the Democrats will have a larger

Letterman vs. Leno

I saw the other day that Jay Leno is increasing his viewer ship over David Letterman. I just don't get it. Leno is NOT funny. He is awful at interviewing since he sucks up to all his guests.

Late Night is a far superior show. Letterman has intelligent talk and great bands. I guess the same people who watch Leno are the morons who vote for Bush.
